- Received extensive interpreting trainings including 40-hours medical interpreting practicum
- Provides language and cross-cultural communication trainings for academic institutions, business communities, government agencies, and more
Interpreting and Teaching Experience
- Court certified interpreter and translator contracted by the Office of Court Interpreter Services in the State of Connecticut, Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and the United States District Court
- Professional level in consecutive and simultaneous interpretation as well as sight translation
- Interprets yearly over 500 court proceedings in a variety of cases in Connecticut and Massachusetts
- Has been interpreting and translating for businesses, judicial and medical communities since 1996
- Subject Matter Expert enlisted by the National Center for State Courts to evaluate consortium state court interpreters for their certification
- Trains current and prospective interpreters at Boston University Center for Professional Education
- Implemented and taught Chinese language at University of Hartford and Miss Porter’s School
- More than twenty-seven years of experience in teaching and training
